   Basically exactly what it says on the tin, when I tried the preset to get my feel for the game, the two younger members of the council both have a free personality and free physical trait. Now, personality trait works just fine, but when I try assigning the physical trait, by clicking the shield, it gives me a Windows Exception error window with 'EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION' and crashes. If it helps any, I'm on XP currently, but have Windows 7 installed and available.

   I had the exact same crash; also Windows 7 (64 bit).

   I also had this problem, running Windows XP service pack 3.

   Ditto this problem. I have the game running in XP SP3 compatibility mode on Windows 7.

   This also happens with newborn kids who get traits after "spend time with your children".

   This bug will be fixed in the next update. Scott was having issues keeping his traits straight at 2AM, apparently.
