   The game often won't let me try and make a child or look for a spouse.

   I can look for a spouse, but after it reports the search as unsuccessful it permanently locks all the other buttons on the family screen.

   No, I'm on XP. I don't know what OS it was running on at PAX, but it had the same problem then.

   Yeah, that's a nasty thing. It dooms the council to die out due to old age.

   The bug that keeps family members from doing anything after they fail at finding a spouse has been fixed, and will be in the next update.
   ShiratoKai, did you have a separate problem?
