   When I ran the "militia" response to the Ice Giant Elemental attack I didn't lose any available infantry. Not sure if "militia" was supposed to disclude the local military or not. I knew it wasn't a good response to pick, but I wanted to try every available answer while play testing. I didn't really suffer for it except that Kalle only received 5 xp. Seems to me that the rampage should have beaten down a few infantry and maybe tapped some of my gold after it destroyed a few buildings. Also - I'm thinking the response should vary based on how much infantry is currently available. If all your infantry have been used previously, maybe that response shouldn't be an option - or better yet - you end up sending your troops in tired and they get slaughtered. :0 Just an out-loud thought...

   Did you choose the "send the militia by themselves" option, or the "send %hero and the militia to deal with it" option?

   Hm. That's a little strange, then. I almost always choose that option (it's my least fight-y character that inevitably gets targeted by this event) and have never seen it do anything other than decrease my total militia appropriately.

   I certainly agree that the option should be removed (and the other military-oriented option) if you don't have any ready troops. That sort of dynamism still lies on the horizon, however.

   I'll have to try it again, Graham. To be honest I wasn't 100% sure which of the two options I picked. All I can tell you is that I intended to pick the 'militia only' option so that's where my brain was. Stay tuned...
